Hello, My name is Dr. Chris Eisenhauer.  I have been a chiropractor in Austin treating people who were involved in auto accidents since 2001.  After hearing the horror stories of people who were taken advantage of by "the system" and who were solicited by people claiming to be from the insurance company or a law office trying to make money off their misfortune, I decided to make an informative website to help avoid any pitfalls you may encounter.

I am concerned when I talk to someone who was in an auto accident 2 or 3 years ago, and they are still experiencing the pain or chronic headaches as a result.  What I find out is that they either didn't receive the proper treatment or didn't know how to handle the claim to insure they get the right treatment even though they had paid for insurance.  While others felt they were too busy at the time to make their treatment visits, they find out 2 years later, that not they have to make those visits just to get by each day.  The only problem is 2 years later, the insurance company is not liable to pay anymore.

In my office, I bill the insurance directly or through an attorney depending on the case.

The first visit usually takes 45 minutes to 1 hour.  This will involve filling out information about your injury and the accident.  Then I will perform a specialized accident and injury evaluation to asses your injury.  At this time, I will make a decision if you will need xrays or not.  Not everybody requires x-rays for thier injuries and I will be able to determine this in my evaluation.

After all the information is gathered, I will set up a plan for your treatment visits.  These visits usually take about 25-30 mintues each time.  I schedule so you will not have to wait in the waiting room.
