| 1. If police are present at the scene, do what the police tell you. 2. If you are experiencing nausea, vomiting, dizziness, loss of memory, trouble speaking, moderate to severe pain, have someone drive you to the Emergency Room right away! 3. If camera or cell phone camera is present, take a picture of the location, the car, and the scene. 4. Exchange information with the other parties involved. Be sure to get as much information as possible. Make sure the driver is the one insured to the car. 5. If minor accident, move the car off the road. 6. Call YOUR insurance agent. 7. If police are not present, attain and fill out a "blue" accident report form and file it as soon as possible. 8. Have your injuries evaluated whether you are currently experiencing any symptoms or not. (hidden injuries may be present). Most chiropractors are trained in detecting these type of injuries. Emergency rooms are not. 9. Put ice (15 minutes at a time) or cool pain cream on your injuries and let the area rest.
